Terms of Service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Po. ("Po.", "we", "us") is a social app for threads, photos, and conversations, operated by the Po. team. These terms cover the Po. mobile apps for iOS and Android and the website at https://poapp.social.

By creating an account or using Po. you agree to these terms and to our Community Guidelines, which are part of them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who can use Po.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use Po. with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and by using the service you confirm you have it. We may suspend or remove accounts we reasonably believe do not meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You can sign in with a username and password, or through Google or Apple. Your account is yours alone: keep your credentials secret, do not share or sell your account, and let us know at support@poapp.social if you believe someone else has accessed it. You are responsible for the activity that happens on your account.

You can deactivate your account at any time from Settings in the app, which hides your profile and content from other users until you sign back in. If you want your account permanently deleted, contact the Po. team at support@poapp.social and we will process your request. Deletion removes your profile and ends these terms for you, except for the sections that survive termination (see section 11).

3. How you show up

Po. does not require your real name. You choose how you show up: use your real identity, a pseudonym, or anything in between, and change it whenever you like. What you may not do is impersonate a real person or organization in a way that is intended to deceive. Parody and fan accounts must be recognizable as such.

4. Your content

Everything you post stays yours. We claim no ownership over your threads, replies, photos, or messages. So that we can run the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content, solely for operating, promoting, and improving Po. This license ends when you delete your content or when your account is deleted at your request (see section 2), except where your content has been reposted or quoted by others, or where we keep copies for a limited time in backups or as required by law.

You are responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to share.

5. What is not allowed

Choosing how you show up is for speaking freely, not for hurting people. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive behavior toward other users. In addition to the Community Guidelines, you agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, or incite violence against anyone, or post hateful content targeting people for who they are;
  • post pornography, sexually explicit media, or gratuitously violent or graphic content;
  • post content that is illegal under Indonesian law or the law that applies to you, including any sexual content involving minors, for which we have zero tolerance;
  • reveal someone's private information without their consent (doxxing);
  • impersonate a real person or organization in a way that is intended to deceive, as set out in section 3;
  • post content that infringes someone else's rights;
  • send spam, run undisclosed bots, scrape the service, or artificially inflate engagement;
  • upload malware or attempt to breach, overload, or interfere with the service or other users' accounts;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the apps, except where the law gives you that right and only within those limits;
  • modify the apps, create derivative works from them, or remove any notice of ownership.

6. Moderation and enforcement

We review every report of objectionable content or abusive behavior within 24 hours. If we uphold it, we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts, with or without prior notice, when we reasonably believe these terms or the Community Guidelines have been broken, to protect our users, or to comply with the law. If you think we got it wrong, write to support@poapp.social and we will take a second look.

There are also mechanisms that allow you to block other users who violate these terms, including users who engage in spam, harassment or insults, pornography, copyright infringement, or other prohibited activities.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on Po. infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@poapp.social with a link to the content, proof of your rights, and your contact details. We remove or disable infringing content and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

8. Subscriptions and fees

Po. is free to use. We also offer an optional paid subscription, Po+ (Po. Plus), sold only as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google take the payment and issue the receipt. We never see or store your card details.

A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it at the store you bought it from. Free trials are offered to some users and not to others, and where one applies it becomes a paid subscription if you do not cancel before it ends. Deleting the app or your Po. account does not cancel a subscription. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are set out in full in our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

We are always improving the service, so features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

9. Third-party services

Po. may use third-party services, including Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple. Your use of these services is subject to the respective third party's terms and privacy policies.

If you download Po. through the App Store or Google Play, or make a purchase through either store, your use of those services and any related transactions are also subject to Apple's or Google's applicable terms and policies.

We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and manage subscription status. The information RevenueCat receives is described in our Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or practices of third-party services, and your use of those services is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Po. is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Content on Po. is created by its users and does not represent our views; the person who posts content is responsible for it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, which is nothing if you have never subscribed. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content or your breach of these terms.

11. Termination

You can stop using Po. at any time, deactivate your account from Settings, or ask the Po. team at support@poapp.social to delete your account. We can restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts as described in section 6. Sections 4, 9, 10, 12, and 13 survive termination.

If you have a paid subscription, cancel it at the App Store or Google Play before you leave. Leaving Po. does not stop the store charging you. If we terminate your account because you broke these terms or the Community Guidelines, you are not entitled to a refund for the rest of the period you paid for.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If a dispute arises, we both agree to first try to resolve it amicably through deliberation. If that fails, the dispute will be settled in the competent courts of Indonesia.

13. Changes to these terms and language

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at this page with its effective date at the top, and we will notify you in the app or on the website when changes are material. Using Po. after changes take effect means you accept them.

These terms are written in English. If translated versions are provided for convenience, the English version prevails.
